Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has opened up on the prospect of joining Real Madrid after he admits he fancies a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mbappe insisted he is happy with his current club but he leaves the future option open when asked about a possible Real Madrid move.

The French attacker has been in a sensational form since last two seasons when he came into limelight with AS Monaco before signed on loan by Paris Saint-Germain.

He continues his good run of form with PSG, where he formed a striking partner with Neymar and Edinson Cavani at the French capital.

The 20-year-old attacker is considered as one of the best forwards in the game and he is seen as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Juventus.

Mbappe has attracted interest from Real Madrid due to his dazzling form for both his club and country after helping France to the World Cup.

Real Madrid pressured the young forward to sign for them but a warning from PSG directors threatening to report Los Blancos to UEFA made Real Madrid officially deny their interest in the forward.

“I’m very happy with how things are going for me at Paris Saint Germain, I’m under contract until 2021 and so now’s not the moment to think about anything else. I’m fine here, but in football – and the future, you never know.

Real Madrid has failed to score goals at will since the departure of Ronaldo and they are linked with a number of attackers, although none of the players would be as viable a solution as Mbappe can potentially be.

Real Madrid need to do a lot to convince PSG to sell the homegrown talent,

although looming Financial Fair Play implications might give the Bernabeu outfit the edge to sign him.
