Ramos defends his intent against Havel and Salah

Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has defended his actions against Viktoria Plzen midfielder Milan Havel and Liverpool attacker Mohamed Sarah after being accused he hurt them purposefully.

Ramos injured the Havel’s nose with his elbow during the Champions League clash with the Czech Republic team on Wednesday night.

the midfielder was hospitalised after the incident and Ramos was accused of deliberately hurting the midfielder which brought back the sad memory Champions League final clash Liverpool forward but the Spaniard insisted that he should be absolved of any blame.

"There was no intention, far from it, to harm a fellow professional," he is quoted as saying by Marca. "I went to speak to [Havel] after the game but he wasn't there and so I sent him a message.

"I have never gone out to hurt another player. I won't be the one to respond to people who criticise me; luckily I am able to do my talking on the pitch."

Ramos and his teammates will take a trip to Balaidos to play Celta Vigo on Sunday in their next La lira game before the UEFA Nations League games.
