According to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed Real tried for Hazard and his Blues teammate Marcos Alonso this past summer.
"This summer Real Madrid tried to sign Hazard and Marcos Alonso, but Chelsea always said no," he said. "Real Madrid was willing to offer €170m for Hazard.
"He is a big player.”
Meanwhile former Real Madrid ace Marcos Alonso has also been seen as a replacement for Brazilian left back Marcelo.
