Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to battle for the signing Argentine playmaker Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis, according to the report in Mundo Deportivo.
The Argentine star has been in scintillating form for Real Betis this season, Lo Celso has scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 33 appearances in all competition.
Though the Argentine midfielder is on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, the interest from the Spanish teams could make him reconsider his options with his parent club and Real Betis.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are preparing a swap deal in a bid to win the signature of the midfielder, It’s noted that Lo Celso has a €25m option to buy in his contract with Betis.
Real Madrid is willing to include one of Theo Hernandez, Achraf or Mariano in talks to try and get a deal done in addition to €30m, while Barcelona is ready to throw in Juan Miranda in the deal to sign the Argentine star.
The offer by both clubs could encourage Real Betis to part ways with Lo Celso if they refuse to exercise their option and make it a permanent move first.
