Real Madrid breathe a sigh of relief as duo returns to train

Real Madrid is prepared to welcome Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio as both returned to the training pitch on Monday morning.

Hazard and Asensio are recovering from their respective injuries as they were pictured at Real Madrid training ground Valdebebas last week, but Monday morning was the first time both players were running on boots.

Real Madrid fans have missed Asensio who suffered a knee ligament injury during the pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the United States of America.

Hazard is scheduled to return on February 1 against Atletico Madrid ion the La Liga and he is expected to play in the Champions League against Manchester City in the round of 16.

Real Madrid will play Unionistas in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
