Real Madrid hero Mijatovic advises Jovic

Real Madrid hero Predrag Mijatovic has offered advise to Los Blancos newly signed forward Luka Jovic to be patient with his new club.

Jovic joined Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt in June signing a six-year deal with the Santiago Bernabeu outfit, having impressed in the Bundesliga and the Europa League but he struggled to hit the ground running during the pre-season with Real Madrid under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane.

He was substituted in his debut for Real Madrid after Nacho was shown a red card during their preseason game against Arsenal ion the ICC tournament.

"Like any young player who ends up at a massive club, you must be patient. He has to wait for his opportunity, train hard and reflect on his situation," Mijatovic said.

"He doesn't have it easy.

"The competition is tough but he's young and has the ambition to demonstrate his quality." 

Mijatovic was the scorer of the UEFA Champions League final goal against Juventus that sealed the seventh Champions League trophy for Los Blancos in 1998.

Real Madrid will host Real Valladolid this weekend at the Santiago Bernabeu.
