Real Madrid out to settle scores with Sevilla in La Liga

Real Madrid is set to bounce back from their recent sluggish performance under Santiago Solari after their last win against Real Betis in the La Liga at the Benito Villamarin Stadium as they aim to build on their last week win when they face Sevilla.

Sevilla defeated Real Madrid in the first leg of their La Liga clash at the Sanchez Pizjuan under Julen Lopetegui, with Santiago Solari at the helm of affairs Los Blancos is expected to put up a different display on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos will be without some of their key players when they entertain Sevilla, the likes of Gareth Bale, Marcos Llorente, Thibaut Courtois, Toni Kroos and Marco Asensio for the clash.

Karim Benzema damaged his finger against Real Betis in their last La Liga game but he would be named in the squad.

 Lucas Vazquez is expected to retain his place in the forward line after serving a one-match ban in the league.

Pablo Machin's men will miss the services of midfielder Maxime Gonalons and Nolito due to injury and Roque Mesa will also miss the tie due to suspension.

The head to head comparison favours Real Madrid having won 34 games out of 53 meetings, four of those games ended in a draw while Sevilla won 15 games.

Solari’s men have been in a perpetual poor form this year they have not been impressive in the La Liga, though managed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Copa Del Rey but going by the standard of previous years they have fallen below par.

They suffered a 1-0 defeat against Levante in the Copa Del Rey and managed to avoid an upset.

Los Blancos last five games have a record of two wins, two defeats and one draw.

SEVILLA:

Los Nervionenses is also dipped in form, they have failed to maintain the form that pushed them to the top of the La Liga in the start of the season.

Though they managed to qualify for quarterfinals of the Copa Del Rey defeat losing 1-0 to Athletic Bilbao, in their last five games they have just one win against the San Mames outfit in the Copa Del Rey, two wins and two draws.
