Real Madrid is planning a shock swoop for Atletico Madrid players Antonie Griezmann and goalkeeper Jan Oblak
Real Madrid will look towards the direction of Antonie Griezmann if the deal for Hazard does not materialise and also go for Jan Oblak if the attempt to sign David De Gea or Thibaut Courtois prove abortive.
The Spanish giant is ready to raid their rivals as an alternative to current No.1 Keylor Navas.
De Gea and Courtois remain the top priority for Zinedine Zidane but he is aware it will be a tough task to prise them away from the Premier League.
Oblak has been in the form of his life since claiming the number one spot in Atletico Madrid. The Slovenian has 21 clean sheets in all competition.
The Atletico star wouldn’t come cheap though as he has a whopping £85.5m (€100m) release clause in his contract.
The reports suggest Diego Simeone could be interested in some sort of swap deal with his rivals.
Manchester United remains the firm favourite to sign Oblak if De Gea leaves Old Trafford for the Bernabeu this summer.
Remarkably he could be the second signing Real make from Atletico as they are said to have agreed on a deal for starlet Theo Hernandez already.
