Real Madrid president Perez slows down Hazard's talks

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has slowed down their plans to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea due to the occurrence of a major factor.

Reports say that the Bernabeu chief Florentino Perez has gone back to the drawing board to have a re-think about making a move for the Chelsea talisman because of his recent poor form.

Real Madrid is set to undergo major clear out at the end of the season and the Chelsea forward is tipped to be one of the major replacement as Perez is keen on starting another Galacticos era.

Hazard is yet to commit his future to the Premier League Champions and he is waiting to see if the Blues can finish in the top four position in the league.

Antonio Conte’s men are struggling for form this season and their hope to finish in the Champions League spot was further dented by the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, they are now eight points behind the top four spot this season.

Premier League champions Chelsea have won just five games out of 19, and Hazard’s form has tailed off and as a result of this Real Madrid has slowed down their interest in signing the Belgium forward from Chelsea.

The London Evening Standard reports that the Bernabeu club have yet to make any form of enquiry for Hazard and more so Hazard’s representatives have not made any move about his transfer.

Hazard has already stated that he will sort his future out after the World Cup this summer.

He said: "I am going to play the World Cup and then I will leave on holiday. Then we will see what happens next.

"I do not think about it (his future) yet. I have another two years on my contract with Chelsea, where I am very happy."

The Belgian star needs a good outing during the World Cup in other to put himself back on track for his suitors to see after a disappointing season with Chelsea.
