Real Madrid remain firm on Ronaldo's decision

Real Madrid directors have stood their ground on Cristiano Ronaldo’s case after the striker demanded an increment in wage, according to report.

Ronaldo is struggling with his form this season, he scored four goals in 14 La Liga outings for the La Liga Champions as he failed to replicate the form that saw he beat his rival Lionel Messi to his fifth Ballon d’Or in December.

Mourinho wants Real Madrid star to Join Manchester United 

The Portuguese forward has been linked with Bernabeu exit, The Real Madrid board agreed to offer Ronaldo a new and improved deal despite his existing terms running until 2021  but reports have it that the talks are on hold due to his poor form.

The latest report is Real Madrid board has refused to accept the Portuguese forward’s proposals of a £35m basic salary and is willing to let go the former Manchester United forward, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Ronaldo favours a move back to Manchester United and PSG is also on the wings in case they are unable to hold Real Madrid back from signing Neymar.

The forward was dropped by coach Zinedine Zidane against Leganes in the 1-0 Copa Del Rey win on Thursday.
