Varane was signed from Lens in 2011 when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.

Mourinho played a big row in encouraging the young defender to pen a deal with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is set to overhaul their squad next season as they look to sign new players and Real President Florentino Perez is looking to being in a world class defender to pair skipper Sergio Ramos in the heart of the defence.

Varane is a cool-headed defender and he has great co-ordinating skills with a good sense of timing and authority, he will be a good addition to the Manchester United line up.
