Real Madrid set to release 14 players this summer

Real Madrid is set to release 14 players this summer following a disappointing campaign this season, according to a report in Marca.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has highlighted some of the stars that would leave at the end of the season, the likes of Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and Dani Ceballos are the three highest-profile current players who Madrid are said to be hopeful of moving on this summer.

Marcos Llorente, Brahim Diaz and Sergio Reguilon are to be loaned out, Jesus Vallejo will be offloaded.

The report also highlights a number of players returning from loan deals elsewhere who will once again be moved on either temporarily or permanently.

James Rodriguez, Mateo Kovacic, Theo Hernandez, Borja Mayoral, Oscar, Raul de Tomas and Martin Odegaard will also be moved on once more.

The report suggests that Real Madrid might consider a bid for Mariano Diaz, Isco and Lucas Vazquez.
