Real Madrid has completed the signing of new Brazilian youngster Jesus Reinier dubbed as the new Kaka, according to report in Spanish media.
The former Flamengo starlet has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Reinier is said to have undergone a medical with Los Blancos over a week ago and signed his contract last week before flying to Madrid.
Flamengo inserted a release clause of €30 million into the young player’s contract and Madrid did not hesitate to trigger that clause, he signed a six-year contract with the Santiago Bernabeu.
The attacking midfielder was one of the most sought after talents in Europe. His many suitors included the likes of Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona, Roma, Milan, Arsenal, and Everton among others.
Reinier Jesus has been a constant presence in the Brazilian youth national teams, playing for the U15, U17, and most recently U23 pre-Olympic team.
Reinier Jesus follows a long line of the world’s best prospects that have joined Real Madrid in recent seasons. Like his fellow Brazilians - Casemiro, Vinicius JR, and Rodrygo - he is expected to spend the first few months adapting to the club by playing for the reserve side, Real Madrid Castilla.
