Real Madrid skipper Ramos speaks about his new milestone

Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has spoken about his new milestone in his career after he scored his 100th goal as a professional.

The Spain and Real Madrid defender was excited with his new feat, he explained that as a defender your main objective is to stop goals and not to score them.

"I'm proud to defend," he wrote to start off an Instagram post.

"My mission as a centre-back, and before that as a full-back, you have never been to score goals, but to stop them.

"That's why reaching 100 goals is something special, just like everything else in my career, I never even dreamed about when I started.

"We will continue to work hard and focus every day to earn your confidence and support."

He scored 80 of his goals for Real Madrid three for Sevilla and 17 for Spain.
