Coupe de France final: Neymar to travel with PSG

Neymar is desperate to seal a return to La Liga and Real Madrid could offer the former Barcelona ace a sensational route back after failing to settle into life in France.

Madrid-based publication AS claim Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is keen on making Neymar their latest Galactico but will have to break the transfer record if he is to land the Brazilian.

Paris Saint-Germain will demand £228million if they are to cash in on a player they forked out £200m on last summer.

Injured star Neymar was at the Stade de France on Tuesday night to cheer on his team-mates as they defeated Les Herbiers 2-0 in the French Cup final.

AS claim Perez has had an 'obsession' with Neymar ever since the Brazilian trained with Real Madrid as a teenager in 2006.

Real Madrid had the chance of signing the then 16-year-old 12 years ago but decided against paying just 60 thousand euros for him.

Perez appears to have failed to live that mistake down and is now keen on making up for the costly error which saw Neymar star in two of Barcelona's title wins.
