Real Madrid woes continue as they are prepared to lose another star to injury after the likes of Gareth Bale, Marcos Llorente, Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio all suffered a similar fate this season.

Toni Kroos will miss a month of action after the German international torn adductor muscle in the 2-0 defeat against Real Sociedad on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kross sustained a torn in the muscle that made he limped out in the closing minute against Real Sociedad as he joined Real Madrid long injury list.

“Following tests carried out on our player Toni Kroos today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a grade 2 tear of the adductor muscle in his left leg,” read a Madrid statement.

“His recovery will be monitored.”

Dani Ceballos is likely to replace the midfielder in the starting line up when they take against Leganes in the Copa Del Rey on Wednesday and Real Betis in the La Liga on Sunday.
