However, Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, has revealed Zidane is playing his part in Real's pursuit of Mbappe.
"Zidane talks with Mbappe, with the player himself and with his father every so often," Inda said.
"He does not want the signing to be messed up in the face of this summer or the next."
Mbappe’s contract expires in 2022 and he is not willing to sign a new deal with the Ligue 1 outfit as he fancies a move to one of the European top clubs.
