REPORT: Chelsea turn to Lille for Hazard replacement

Chelsea has turned to Lille once again for the replacement of Eden Hazard as they aim to tempt Nicolas Pepe to the Stamford Bridge.

The report in the Telefoot says Chelsea directors want the Ivorian as a potential replacement for Hazard who his being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea is faced by two conditions to land the Pepe, first if Hazard is sold and secondly if they can their ban can be reversed.

Just this weekend, LOSC president Gerard Lopez said: "This summer, I think we will sell four to five players, no more.

"All clubs are forced to balance their accounts except perhaps one. I would say, it is sure he (Pepe) will leave.

"He enters a price range that can no longer be paid. There is a career choice for him to make. I think he will have the choice.”

Chelsea signed Hazard from Lille in 2012.

Chelsea suffered a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday at the Anfield in the Premier League.
