Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move back to Real Madrid, according to speculation in the English media.

The Portuguese manager rejected the chance to manage Benfica and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has contacted Jorge Mendes, his agent to inquire about the tactician intention about the coaching role in Real Madrid, according to the Sun.

It is believed Mourinho is the best man for the job at the Santiago Bernabeu as they seek to bounce back from their poor form.
