The Atletico Madrid forward is one of the most sought-after attacking players in the world at the moment, having scored 79 goals in just under three seasons at the Vicente Calderon.A late goal from Griezmann dashed Real Madrid's hopes
of a first league win over city rivals Atletico Madrid since 2012-13 as the two crosstown foes played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Pepe gave Real a lead with a perfectly placed header early in the second half and Los Blancos looked like they were on their way to all three points, but Griezmann struck in the 85th minute to earn the Rojiblancos a share of the spoils.
The result opens the door a bit more for Barcelona, who are now three points behind Real in the league standings with the Catalonians in action later on Saturday.
