REPORT: Real Madrid offer Bale to Tottenham for a cut price

Real Madrid has offered Gareth Bale to Tottenham Hotspur for a cut-down price on a loan deal this is according to report in The Sun.

Los Blancos want to carry out major clearance at the end of the season and Bale is one of the players that would be hit by the restructuring of the team following a poor campaign this season.

The Welsh forward was supposed to take over the scoring duties after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo but he failed to leave up to the expectations of many and Real Madrid is looking to take him off their books next season.

Bale was signed from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 with a sum of £86million then a world record transfer fee, he earns more than £600,000 per week but Real Madrid will allow him to leave on loan if a club agrees to pay £250,000 of the 29-year-old's wage plus a £10m fee.

Bale won four Champions League with Real Madrid, La Liga, Copa Del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Tottenham would be keen to see Bale return to north London after he scored 21 Premier League goals in his final Premier League season before jetting off to Spain.
