Real Madrid has already contacted River Plate about their interest in the 20-year-old midfielder and they are willing to meet his $15 million buy-out clause to overcome the competition.
Los Millonarios' president, Rodolfo D’Onofrio, accused Real Madrid of ignoring the club to make a direct contact with the Argentine midfielder without the club's permission.
