Former Super Eagles Captain and Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has emerged as one of the top earners among African players plying their trade in the French Ligue 1.
As published in French publication, L’Equipe, Enyeama is the 5th African on the money list in the French top division.
Eneyama is said to be raking in 1.8 million euros per year (approximately N905 million) which makes him one of the best paid goalkeepers.
The Lille shot stopper at the moment commands €150,000 every month, slightly less that AS Monaco’s Croatia international Danijel Subašić, who receives €160,000.
With a monthly salary of €300,000 gross, Cameroon defender Nicolas Nkoulou, who turns out for Lyon, is the best paid African player, followed by Belhanda (Nice), Dirar (Monaco) and Clinton Njie (Marseille).
Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva is the best paid player in Ligue 1, the central defender pockets 1.1 million euros every month.
