Barcelona legend Rivaldo has told Ivan Rakitic to shun a move to Manchester United and fight for his space in the team despite a poor outing against Valencia in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday.
The former Brazilian attacker urged Rakitic to turn down a move to Old Trafford after the rumour surfaced again following the shocking defeat against Marcelino's men.

Rakitic's space in the starting line-up remains a threat following the signing of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax which will limit his playing time next season.
However, Rivaldo has urged Rakitic to stay and fight for his place at the Nou Camp.
He said: “There are rumours circulating about Ivan Rakitic possibly going to Manchester United but, while United is a big club with great tradition, I think the Croatian still has enough football to keep playing for Barcelona, as he is a great player."
