Roma have allegedly identified Premier League striker Daniel Sturridge as the man they want to replace Chelsea bound Edin Dzeko.
The 31-year-old Bosnian star close to switching to Stamford Bridge in this January transfer window, as Blues manager Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his striking options for the rest of the campaign.

According to the Daily Star, Roma plans to make a move for Liverpool forgotten forward Sturridge should the former Manchester City goal poacher Dzeko leave the Serie A outfit.
The England international Sturridge who is out-favor with Reds coach Jurgen Klopp and 28-year-old has limited to substitute appearances with Inter Milan interested in the ex-Chelsea star.
Sturridge featured 14 times in all competitions, made only five starts and three goals to his credit.
