Roma president James Pallotta insists Alisson Becker is not for sale in the summer despite interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old Brazil international goalkeeper has been one of the stars of Roma's season and he has yet to concede a goal at the Stadio Olimpico in the Champions League this season

Alisson still has three years left on his contract with Serie A giants though and Pallotta has no desire to cash in on a player who cost just €8million in July 2016 from Brazilian club Internacional.

"We have no intention of selling him," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"I mean zero at all. I'm sure some people will probably come in with some bids, but I don't have any interest in selling him, he's a great goalkeeper.

"When we got him, I thought the same thing and as far as I'm concerned, I mean no!"

"Why shouldn't we think about the final? Liverpool are a strong team but we can play well, too," he said.

"We did well in Barcelona and the score did not reflect what we saw on the pitch in the first leg. We took them by surprise in the second, thanks to the coach."
