Roma set to loan out Nigerian striker

Italian giants AS Roma are said to be mulling over sending out Nigeria youth international, Umar Sadiq on loan.

It is understood that Crotone are close to securing a loan deal for the 20-year-old gangling striker.

The centre-forward spent the last six months at Bologna, but managed only seven Serie A appearances, providing one assist.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Crotone are in advanced negotiations to take Sadiq on loan this season.

He played for Nigeria at the 2016 Olympics, scoring four goals in six games, he has also shown brilliance in Roma's preseason games.
