Ronaldo joins Musa's Leicester for another nomination

RonaldoCristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for another award days after winning the FIFA Best.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for yet another award following a stellar 2016, which has seen him win all the individual prizes in world football for the past seasons.

Also nominated is Ahmed Musa’s Leicester City, following their surprise emergence as champions of England in the last season.

Ronaldo, his club Real Madrid, Leicester City and a host of other sport personalities including Andy Murray and Usain Bolt have all been nominated for the Laureus World Sports Awards.

Ronaldo had an incredible year, winning both the Champions League and Euro 2016, and this month claimed his fourth Ballon d'Or.

Murray, who has also received a knighthood, secured victories at Wimbledon and the Rio

Premier League champions Leicester were also been recognised with a nomination for the breakthrough award, after they completed a 5000-1 sporting miracle in May as they lifted the trophy.
