JUST IN: Ronaldo rejects fresh offer of €200m

Cristiano Ronaldo’a moce to Juventus appears closer than ever as he has reportedly turned down a move to China that would have fetched him £177million over two seasons.

The Real Madrid superstar has been linked with a move to the Serie A giants all through the past week and a move appears imminent in a deal that will be worth around £88m, after he reportedly fell out with the Bernabeu hierarchy over comments made following the Champions League final victory against Liverpool in May.

And excitement around his potential arrival is reaching fever pitch in Turin with Tuttosport headlining Sunday's edition of their paper with: 'Welcome Ronaldo'.

The Italian paper write that Madrid are not willing to lower their £88m price demands for Ronaldo, which would see his agent Jorge Mendes earn a significant chunk.

Ronaldo was also reportedly offered a sensational offer from China that would see him earn £177m over the course of just two seasons, with sponsorship and business interests part of the package.

The 33-year-old is currently on holiday with his family in Greece following Portugal's World Cup last-16 exit to Uruguay but his absence is not expected to hold up negotiations.

Corriere dello Sport included a photo of Ronaldo mocked up in a Juventus shirt and report that Tuesday will see the transfer all-but concluded between both clubs.
