Salah hangout with Game of Thrones star in New York

Liverpool, forward Mohamed Salah hangout with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke at Time 100 Gala in New York after he was named one of the world's most influential people by the US magazine.

The 26-year-old Egypt international rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in music, film and television at the red-carpet event after being chosen as one of six cover stars for the magazine's annual issue.

Salah was in attendance at the Lincoln Center, where he was snapped alongside stars including Oscar-winner Rami Malek and the British Game of Thrones star Clarke.

The African player of the year was joined by an array of stars from numerous fields, including Jimmy Fallon, Brie Larson, Naomi Campbell, US women's star Alex Morgan, basketball star LeBron James, athlete Caster Semenya and tennis ace Naomi Osaka.

Other guests at the bash included Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Glenn Close and Taylor Swift, who performed for the crowd.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gives Salah time off to attend the bash and will return to Merseyside in time for Reds home game against Huddersfield at Anfield on Friday night.
