Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has lifted the lid on his bad spell at Chelsea during his first spell in the Premier League.
Liverpool on June 23, 2017
confirmed they had completed a £34m signing of Roma's former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah. The 25-year old signed a five-year deal and has been a prime target for manager Jurgen Klopp.
Salah in a an
exclusive interview on MARCA
said: "I didn't do well because I didn't play many games. I was there for one year, but I only played during the first six months.
"After that, I hardly participated. I went to Fiorentina, scored goals, then in Rome I played very well and returned to England. But it's not a matter of succeeding or not..."
Salah's goals record (21) has allowed him to compete with Harry Kane (22) in the Premier League, but also for the Golden Shoe, with Cavani (21) and Messi (20).
