Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has provided an update on the future of Gonzalo Higuain at the Stamford Bridge ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Italian manager admits that there is uncertainty surrounding Higuain’s permanent switch to Chelsea from Juventus.
Higuain cut his loan spell with AC Milan to actualise a move to Chelsea in January transfer window, the former Real Madrid star has scored goals in 15 appearances so far the Blues.
Chelsea is banned from transfer activities for two window seasons but the Blues directors have appealed the decision and they are waiting for the final judgement on Thursday.
Sarri has opened up on the uncertainty surrounding a permanent move for Higuain he admits the
situation is ‘not clear’.

“Yes of course, but it depends on the club, it depends on Juventus,” he explained, as quoted by the Guardian.
“It’s not clear the situation at the moment.”
Sarri also spoke about Higuain’s inconsistent form this season.
He even told the Argentine that he has to improve both physically and mentally.
“Gonzalo has to improve,” Sarri continued.
“He has to improve physically and mentally, but I think also he will be able to be very useful for us in the last part of the season.
“You know very well that it’s not easy in the first months to play in the Premier League.
“He needs time to improve his physical condition and time to be suitable for the Premier League.”
Chelsea will play West Ham on Monday evening in their next Premier League clash at the Stamford Bridge.
