Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants Real Madrid star at Chelsea next season as he speaks on the Blues transfer activities ahead of the summer.
Chelsea is currently hit with a transfer ban by FIFA that would see the Stamford Bridge outfit stay off of transfer activities in two windows transfer. The judgement will be heard on Thursday.
The Italian tactician is already making his plans if the judgement turns out in their favour, Sarri wants Mateo Kovacic to remain at the Stamford Bridge as he proposes for an outright purchase of the Croatian midfielder.
Kovacic has been in great form for the Blues since his arrival last summer, Sarri believes the Real Madrid midfielder can compete with Jorginho for the central midfield role.

The former Napoli coach has also ruled out signing another player for that role, saying: “No, I want to try with Kovacic. He is only on loan, of course, but I'd like very much that Kovacic will stay with us.
“You know very well that, in that position, we have some problems because we have only Jorginho. In my opinion, Kovacic could become a very good central midfielder.
“Of course, he is not a defensive midfielder (at the moment) but, as you know, in that position I prefer a very technical player.
“In the last match, Jorginho touched 161 balls. So, for us, it's very important for us to have big
quality in that position. Big quality not for the last pass, but big quality in terms of moving the ball.”
Chelsea will also welcome Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic and Eden Hazard will move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
