Inter Milan have been fined €10,000 after anti-Neapolitan chants during their 0-0 draw with Napoli on Sunday night.

During the first, second and 10th minutes of the first half, observers heard a section of Nerazzurri supporters chanting things which were “insulting on the basis of territorial origin”.

Today the Lega Serie A has released its disciplinary report, and the club has been fined €10,000 for the chanting.

Inter have also been fined a further €4,000 for delaying kick-off by five minutes, with Napoli fined €2,500 for their part in that.

Verona was fined €3,000 after fans threw a flare toward the pitch and Spal €2,000 for insulting songs about the referee.

On the pitch, Daniele De Rossi will be suspended Roma’s trip to Crotone at the weekend after he picked up his fifth booking of the season.

Also crossing the disciplinary threshold are Benevento’s Lorenzo Del Pinto, Sampdoria’s Karol Linetty and Sassuolo pair Federico Peluso and Antonio Ragusa.
