The 2017/2018 Serie A season entered its match day four over the weekend, and champions doesn’t look like letting up one bit, as they have continued with their impressive start with Paulo Dybala the star of the show for them at the weekend.

Other expected title contenders, Napoli, Milan, Inter and Roma were all in action as well as we take a look at how it all went down in Italy’s top flight league from this past weekend.

AC Milan 2-1 Udinese

The Rossonerri bounced back from last weekend’s incredible loss to Lazio to beat Udinese at the San Siro. Nikola Kalinic was the hero for Vicenzo Montella’s side as his brace was enough to earn them maximum points in this one.

Napoli 6-0 Benevento

What a weekend it was for Maurizio Sarri and his Napoli side as they put six past the hapless Benevento to also signal their intentions this season. Belgian Dries Mertens bagged a hat-trick, while goals from Lorenzo Insigne, Jose Callejon and Allan saw off the newly promoted side. They’re not top of the log.

Sassuolo 1-3 Juventus

This was the Paulo Dybala show. The little Argentinean got himself a hat-trick as the Old Lady saw off competition from the hosts. The win keeps them second on the table, but level on points with leaders Napoli and third-placed Inter.

Crotone 0-2 Inter

Milan Skriniar and Manchester United target Ivan Perisic got the goals that propelled Luciano Spalletti’s side to third, but level on 12 points with Napoli and Juventus, who occupy the top two positions but based on goals difference.

Roma 3-0 Verona

Edin Dzeko scored a brace after Radja Naingollan had given the capital the club the lead as they strolled to an easy win over another newly promoted side. However, the win notwithstanding, Roma are a lowly eight, even though they have played one game less than the rest of the league.
