The 2016/17 Serie A season keeps getting interesting, with Juventus’ lead at the top now having been reduced to four points, as the clubs behind them continue to post impressive performances in their quest to end the Old Lady’s dominance of Italian football.

As round of 15 matches were decided over the weekend, let’s take a look at how the clubs fared and how the table stands now.
Lazio 0-2 Roma
The battle of Rome this one was, and it was the club whose name is synonymous with the ancient city that triumphed, playing away from home. Kevin Strootman hand Radja Naingollan’s goals were enough to seal the win for Luciano Spalletti’s side over their city rivals and keep them firmly in pursuit of Juventus at the top.
AC Milan 2-1 Crotone
And the resurgence continues for Milan, as they beat their adversaries over the weekend to also stay close to Juventus at the top. More impressively, the Rossonerri had to come from behind to snatch the win as they eye a return to the Champions League after several years out.

Juventus 3-1 Atalanta
The Old Lady appears to have lost some steam following their recent results, but all that didn’t affect them as they dispatched off Atalanta at the Juventus Stadium in Turin. The win was enough for them to maintain a four point lead at the top of the table.
Napoli 3-0 Inter
Contrasting fortunes for the Milan clubs, as while AC continues to soar and impress, Inter continues to regress. And the result against Napoli over the weekend was testament to that, with the loss now leaving them 10th on the log, while Napoli are fourth following the win.

Pescara 1-1 Cagliari
Sampdoria 2-0 Torino
Sassuolo 3-0 Empoli
