Sevilla defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in their La Liga match on Wednesday as Zinedine Zidane's men stumbled in Sanchez Pizjuan.
Real Madrid fell behind in the 26th minute after Luis Muriel assist was well delivered to Wissam Ben Yedder as Sevilla took the lead at home.
Sevilla continued to attack Real Madrid for the second goal of the night as Clement Lenglet's header went off the target.
The away team scored the goal in the 45th minute by Miguel Layun from a sublime assist from Steven Nzonzi as the Rojiblancos had a comfortable lead over Real Madrid in the first half. Real Madrid was awarded a penalty bur Sergio Ramos missed from the spot and the captain was unable to reduce the goal margin in the 58th minute.
Real Madrid pushed forward to get a goal but they have not been prolific up front for the entire night as Sevilla got the better side of the visitors who are struggling to stamp a commanding play at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
Sergio Ramos scored an own goal to extend the lead for the host as Sevilla trailed Real Madrid with three goals up in the 84th minute but Real Madrid got a consolation for Real Madrid from Borja Mayoral in the 87th.
Ramos converted a late spot-kick to give Real Madrid the second goal but it was not enough to stop them from losing the entire three points to Joaquín Caparrós' men.
