The report in The Mirror says Manchester City could reportedly face a Champions League ban if they found guilty of financial irregularities.

The Premier League champions have been under investigation by a regulatory committee over a series of leaks into their financial conduct.

Officials from UEFA's financial control board are set to submit their findings and will reportedly push for at least a one-year ban from Europe's premier competition.

UEFA might punish Manchester City but it remains to be seen how hard the European football governing body sanction the Premier League Champions.

At the moment Manchester City will team up with the fellow Premier teams Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea for next season Champions League.
