Shooting Stars are desperate for a quick return to the Nigeria Professional Football League and they need their best legs to achieve this mission.

It is in that light that the management of the Shooting Stars Football Club, (3SC) have raised an alarm; declaring one of their players, Sunday Faleye 'missing'!.

The Ibadan-based club said Sunday has failed to show up in training since the beginning of the month without any form of communication.

In a statement released by the club's Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal, Sunday was said to have absconded without any recourse to getting back to the club through any contacts.

The Team Manager, however, declared that Sunday still remains a bona fide player of the club having just spent a year of his three-year contract with the Shooting Stars.

"We have not seen Sunday since even after getting alert for his salary. He had refused to report in training, that's why we must let the world know that he is on AWOL despite still being a bona fide player of the club", Lawal concluded.
