Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has urged the Wanda Metropolitano directors to sign Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas, according to report.
Fabregas is willing to consider other offers as Chelsea is unwilling to offer him a long-term contract at the Stamford Bridge.
AC Milan has been in talks with the Spanish international for a while but it seems the negotiations with the Italian outfit will take another twist with Atletico Madrid now in the frame.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants Fabregas at the club and he has told the Stamford Bridge directors to Change their transfer policy in a way to accommodate a long-term contract for the the31-year-old star.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Atletico would be willing to wait to sign Fabregas at the end of the season as a free agent. Simeone
wants to improve the midfield and sees the former Barcelona and Arsenal man as a good option.
