Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari has hit back at Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo after the former Los Blancos aimed a sly dig at the European Champions.

Solari in his press conference ahead of the clash against CSKA Moscow responded to Ronaldo’s comment after the Portuguese claim that the Juventus is the best squad he has been part of.

Ronaldo also urged Lionel Messi to join at Serie A, Solari replied the former Real Madrid star while praising the humility of his squad.

"Humility is a great virtue and the Real Madrid squad is great and humble," said Solari in his press conference before the CSKA Moscow game on Wednesday evening.

"Cristiano is living history of Real Madrid and his feelings are his own."

When asked about whether LaLiga Santander or the Champions League is the priority of Los Blancos, Solari widened the goals for his side.

"Those two and also the Copa del Rey and the Club World Cup," he stated.

"We have to be alive in all of the competitions.

"I like them all and that's what we should aspire to."

The entrance of Marcos Llorente to the Madrid line-up appears to have brought some stability, yet doubts are still there about the midfielder's future as he searches for regular game time.

"I am happy with what he does in every training session and in the games," said Solari.

"I do not know what will happen with him or anyone else.”

Real Madrid has qualified for the knockout round of the Champions League but the top spot is still up for grab when they play the Russian team at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday in an early kick-off.
