Soton 0-1 Man City: Guardiola's City set another EPL record

Manchester City set another record in the 1-0 win over Southampton in the last game of the season after Gabriel Jesus last minute of the game  to earn the Cityzens a 100 points in a season.

Manchester City started the game in their usual fashion as the opted to attack as Ilkay Gundogan initiated the attack after he chipped in the ball into the penalty box but Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy as he rushed out to save the ball.

With Manchester City dominating the game. Southampton's forward Charlie Austin made a decent attempt but he was unable to get the target.

Manchester City failed to break the defensive line of the Saints in the opening 45 minutes of the tie. Manchester City made their first substitute with Gabriel Jesus replacing Fabian Delph in the 59th minute.

Manchester City continued to find a way to break down the Saints' defence with several attempts from the visitors but Pep Guardiola's men came close with a shot from Raheem Sterling but his effort was denied by the cross-bar in the 61st first. Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City tries to play a 1-2 with Raheem Sterling, but the ball is intercepted in the 69th minute.

James Ward-Prowse sends a header towards goal, but Claudio Bravo is there to comfortably save it as the home team almost broke the deadlock.

Great defending by Fernandinho from Manchester City to prevent his team conceding a goal after Bravo was rounded up. Bernardo Silva was replaced by Brahim Diaz in 78 minutes and with eight minutes to go Guardiola made his final change as Ikay Gundogan was replaced by Phil Folden.

Gabriel Jesus finally find the net in the 90th minute as Manchester City set another Premier League record.
