today in London ahead of the international friendly games against the Teranga Lions of Senegal and the Stallions of Burkina Faso.
The Eagles face the Lions on Thursday in the first of the two international friendlies, before taking on Burkina Faso on Tuesday the following week.
Already, Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has been in Europe talking to a few of the players and getting set for the game, and after their exertions for their respective clubs over the weekend in Europe, the players are expected to start arriving the team’s London camp today.Read also: Dele Alli's dad, Kehinde, has taken his case to court
The games against Senegal and Burkina Faso have been arranged to get the team prepared for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which start in June, and also the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon in August.
It will be the Eagles’ first games this year, as they last time they played was in the 3-1 win over Algeria last November in their second group game of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
