Super Eagles battling serious cold ahead Cameroon clash - FCNaija

The home-based Eagles could face Cameroon later today in a friendly in Morocco ahead of the CHAN tournament which begins this weekend.

“We are likely to play a friendly against another team here for the CHAN, Cameroon, today,” team spokesperson Toyin Ibitoye said.

Cameroon lost 3-1 to hosts Morocco in another test game.

Meanwhile, the CHAN Eagles landed in Casablanca before they made their way to Rabat, where they are battling to stay cold as it is winter now in Morocco.

“It’s very cold, but we are fighting it,” forward Sunday Faleye told SCORENigeria

It is 17 degrees centigrade in Rabat today, while in Abuja it is 36 degrees.

The team are due to leave for Tangier on Friday ahead of their opening Group C tie against Rwanda Monday night.
