Kenneth Omeruo is the subject of interest from several Turkish clubs and could quit Chelsea on a permanent basis in the summer.

On-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is the toast of a host of Turkish clubs, as the summer transfer window draws near.

The 23-year old, who has been spending the season on loan at Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig, is set to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer, with several Turkish outfits showing interest in snapping him up.

The clubs interested in the services of the Nigeria international include Alanyaspor, where he has played this season, and Kasimpasa, where he played last year, but it is left to be seen whether they could match a seven million pounds valuation by Chelsea for the Nigeria defender.

“There are some clubs in Turkey who are interested in signing Kenneth at the end of the season,” ScoreNigeria quoted a source close to the player.

“They will include Kasimpasa, who he played for last season, and also his current club Alanyaspor.

“But the snag will be if they could come up with the seven million pounds Chelsea want for the player.”

Last summer, Besiktas were also keen to sign Omeruo, but they could not give a commitment to Chelsea that they will sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the loan.
