Nigeria may not have emerged winners of the recently ended CHAN tournament, but two of its players have been named in the competition’s best XI by CAF.

As expected, champions and hosts Morocco dominated the best XI with five players including MVP and Goal King Ayoub El Kaabi, who scored a record nine goals.

Eze was an ever-present as Nigeria went all the way to the final in Morocco, while Dayo Ojo stamped his class in the Eagles midfield when he broke into the first team, scoring a super goal against Equatorial Guinea.
