Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has questioned the decision of Video Assistant Referees(VAR) to chalk off Sadio Mane’s goal in Liverpool’s 1-1 scored draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday evening encounter.

England international Marcus Rashford has put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer upfront in the 36-minute of the fixtures but Senegalese forward thought he had equalised for the Reds only for VAR to disallow the goal for a handball.

The Brighton and Hove Albion center-back Balogun disagree with the decision as he took his social media handle to share his view.

Adam Lallana rescues Liverpool from first Premier League defeat of the season after coming from the substitute bench to level it up when he benefitted from Andrew Robertson's cross to stretch the Reds' unbeaten run to nine games this term.

Balogun on his part is yet to make any appearance for Brighton in the Premier League this season and was omitted from Super Eagles two friendly matches with Ukraine and Brazil in September and October respectively.
