Swansea is set to host Manchester City in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday here are facts you need to know before the kick-off.

TEAM NEWS:

SWANSEA:

The Swans could be without the services of their top scorer Oli McBurnie who is down due to illness. He is unlikely to come in from the bench.

Kyle Naughton is a doubt for the clash having sustained a hamstring injury.

MANCHESTER CITY:

Pep Guardiola’s men would be without John Stones who is yet to fully recover from a groin injury.

Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany will also be missing in action when they travel to Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

HEAD TO HEAD:

This will be the first ever FA Cup meeting between Swansea and Man City. However, the Swans are winless in 13 previous matches in all competitions, losing all but two of those.

Manchester City has a better head to head advantage over Swansea.

The sides most recently faced off in last season's Premier League, with the Citizens claiming a 4-0 win at the Liberty Stadium in December 2017 and following that up with a 5-0 triumph on home soil four months later.

RECENT FORM:

SWANSEA:

Graham Potter’s men have been in a fine form in the FA Cup winning their last three matches but in all competition, they have been struggling so hard.

They have a record of two wins and four losses in their last six games.

MANCHESTER CITY:

The Premier League Champions have been in scintillating form since they have won all their games in the FA Cup and in all competitions, they have a record of six wins in six games, including the 7-0 win over Schalke 04 in the reverse fixture of the Champions League.
