La Liga president Javier Tebas has confirmed that Lionel Messi has already signed a new deal with Barcelona, according to report.
Messi’s future at the club has been subjected to speculation over time, with the departure of Neymar to Paris Saint –Germain and Barcelona’s inability to sign an ideal replacement has triggered the rumour that the Argentine might not consider signing a new deal.

"Messi has a contract which has been renewed," said Tebas, at a media event organised by Europa Press.
"Contracts are official when they are signed and not when it is announced that they have been signed. Messi has signed with Barcelona, if I have not been lied to, he has signed."
Messi started the season in scintillating form, with 19 goals so far for club and country so far.
