Heynckes taking Bayern Munich to UCL promise land again?

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has slammed the referee and Real Madrid following their Champions League exit at the hands of the Spanish giants on Tuesday night.

Vidal could only watch on from the sidelines as he missed the game through injury and has launched the attack on both Real and the referee.

Bayern drew 2-2 at the Bernabeu to exit the competition 4-3 on aggregate, goals from Joshua Kimmich and James Rodriguez cancelled out by a Karim Benzema double.

The German giants felt they should have had two penalties when a cross struck Marcelo's arm, and when Robert Lewandowski was brought down by Sergio Ramos.

And Vidal, who missed the game through injury, was clearly in agreement as he took to social media to express his anger.

“Once again!!! Criminal s***”, the Chilean wrote on his Instagram story after Marcelo's handball went unpunished.

The midfielder then followed it up with another post at full-time, sharing a picture of the Madrid players celebrating with the caption 'rats' surrounded by a number of 'angry' emoticons.
